After you upgrade your computer to Windows 10, if your Seiko Printer Drivers are not working, you can fix the problem by updating the drivers. It is possible that your Printer driver is not compatible with the newer version of Windows.
How to Install Drivers
After you have found the right driver, follow these simple instructions to install it.
- Power off your device.
- Disconnect the device from your computer.
- Reconnect the device and power it on.
- Double click the driver download to extract it.
- If a language option is given, select your language.
- Follow the directions on the installation program screen.
- Reboot your computer.
Turn off the printer. Go to start -> printers and faxes Delete the printer.
Go to file -> server properties. Click on the drivers tab. Remove the drivers for the printer. If you can't delete them, restart the computer and then try again.
Go to the control panel -> add/remove programs and remove the software for the printer. Then restart the computer again.
Download and run the smart label application and driver for printer. If you can't get the newest version to work, you can try an older version. Hopefully that will resolve your issue.
